This application presents a visual indicator in the form of a finger cursor that points toward a designated destination. It is important to recognize that this tool is not designed to serve as a precise navigation solution but rather as a general directional aid.

Features:

• Provides visual guidance for your route using overlaid images, with a finger cursor indicating the direction to follow.
• Allows you to view your route on various map types: street map, satellite view, or a hybrid of both.
• Offers map orientation options, with North at the top or rotated to align with your current heading.
• Displays distance units in meters or miles based on user preference.
• Shows battery status segmented into five levels: charging, full, three-quarters, half, and quarter charge.
• Indicates network connectivity status, including WiFi, cellular networks, or no connection.
• Includes a compass feature with a red arrow pointing toward North.
• If available, geographic names of your current location and destination are displayed for contextual reference.

Notes:

• The application requires a device equipped with an electronic compass and GPS functionality.
• Users can choose between compass-based guidance or GPS navigation; GPS mode activates upon movement detection.
• Intensive use of GPS and compass sensors may lead to increased battery consumption and faster depletion over time.
• The map utilizes the standard iPhoneOS map API and necessitates an active network connection via WiFi or cellular data for accurate positioning; note that map data transfer may involve substantial data usage.
• The application may experience diminished performance near strong magnetic or electronic interference; adjusting location slightly can mitigate this issue.
• For safety reasons, users should refrain from operating the app while driving.
• If the marker is repositioned, users can swipe the screen (touch and drag horizontally) to return to the finger marker view.

  Instructions:

  1. Select your initial destination by centering the map during registration or using the search bar at the top to input a place name. Tap the Detail button to bookmark this location. Bookmarks can be accessed via search history, contacts, or saved entries.
  2. After setting the destination, press Enter to initiate navigation. The display will show current and destination coordinates, address (or latitude and longitude if unavailable), distance remaining, and direction. The finger cursor will indicate the heading toward your destination.
  3. At the bottom of the navigation screen are controls labeled Destination Setting, Detail Setting, and Toggle buttons for layout adjustments.

  Destination Setting: Opens an interface for selecting from bookmarks, search history, or contacts.

  Detail Settings: Permits customization of various display and navigation options including:

  • Show Address: Displays destination address when enabled; otherwise shows latitude and longitude if address data is unavailable.
  • Map Type: Switch between Street Map, Satellite View, or a Hybrid mode.
  • Map Rotation: When enabled, aligns map orientation with your current heading; disabling it keeps North at the top.
  • Compass Setting: Choose between True North and Magnetic North reference points.
  • Navigation System: Select between Compass mode or GPS mode (which activates upon movement).
  • Compass View: Options include Augmented Reality (AR), Single view, or Hidden.
  • Distance Units: Toggle between kilometers and miles; distance displays switch appropriately based on magnitude.
  • Lock Screen: When activated, prevents map orientation from changing with device movement.
  • Help: Displays instructions for user assistance.
  • About: Provides information on features, notes, and company details.

  Toggle Button: Cycles through different layout configurations of the Map Screen, Navigation Screen, and Camera View with each press to suit user preferences.
